Penny Stevenson is widely recognized as one of New Zealand’s leading showjumping instructors. She coaches nationally and internationally, has competed successfully at the top level of showjumping competition and was a National Selector for New Zealand Showjumping for several years. Now retired from competition, her primary focus is on training riders and selecting quality horses for discerning clients.

Penny Stevenson has been instrumental in launching the careers of several international riders, including her own daughter Samantha McIntosh. Samantha, who now rides for the Bulgarian national showjumping team, is widely regarded as one of the world’s top female showjump riders.
