Breeder - Barry and Sonia McDonald

Celerity Park Stud has been operating for 26 years. We breed quality warmblood horses for the Olympic Disciplines. Rideability, excellent temperaments and trainability, are all qualities we value and emphasise in our breeding program. Athleticism and the abilty to perform are also important characteristics of our horses.

Bloodline - Barry and Sonia McDonald

We are currently standing two frozen semen stallions. One is superbly bred for Showjumping, carrying the famous Ramiro/ Calypso 11 lines(Rabino) out of a CP Starlight daughter. (Sky High/ Fire Image).
The other young stallion, "Fabulous Lad" is destined to be a sensational dressage star! He is by the Celle State Stud (Hannoverian) "Falkland", who shows off his excellent trotting mechanics at the Stallion Parades. Fabulous Lad is out of the dressage bred Wunder mare, "CP Wunderlass".
Our original foundation mare was the delightfully talented T/B mare, "Fire Image", (Blue Fire/ Strolling Vagabond lines)herself a Grand Prix show jumper. Our foundation stallion, Celerity Park Starlight" (Now 26 years young) was bred from this mare and was by the imported Warmblood stallion, "Sky High", campaigned internationally as a top class showjumper.
From the effects of this excellent gene pool we were able to breed some top class competitors, many of which have been sold O/S. Southern Jester, the Australian Showjumping Champion of 2000, and also short listed for the Sydney 2000 Games being the most famous.
